I would love to wear a suit 100% of the time, but that is not always possible. However, going somewhere hot and humid doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice style.

I went to Acapulco, Mexico this past weekend to celebrate a friend’s wedding. This was the perfect time to kick off some summer swimwear styles. I needed to figure out what was going to look good inside and outside of the water. The kind folks at Slate & Stone let me pick out some swimwear for my trip. Here are some of my favorites.

Look 1

I wore my Goorin Brother’s Panama Hat, short sleeve shirt from Primark, shades from Woodzee, and swim trunks from Slate & Stone. The key is to find accessories that work together but also work on their own. I could remove the hat and shirt when needed. When I needed to jump into the pool, which I did, the outfit still works.

These shorts are called RED/DARK BLUE/LIGHT BLUE FIRE. Very appropriate.

Look 2

Floral is always great in warm weather. I can easily go to the hotel bar or slip into the pool.
