WHY YOUR NEXT NEW MOTORCYCLE SHOULD BE ELECTRIC

There is nothing quite like taking a ride through the country in the open air on a motorcycle. Not only is it a rare sense of freedom from the stresses of everyday life but it’s a way to actually use all of the senses to experience everything around you. As you are not confined to the inside of a vehicle, you can smell flowers blooming around you and you can hear the sheep bleating away in a nearby pasture. You can feel the wind on your face as you drive down the road and you can taste the berry you just plucked from a bush as you sailed on by.

You Hate to Let Go but It Really Is Time

These little adventures are what you look forward to during the mundane week at work and perhaps the only thing that kept you sane throughout the past two years of avoiding crowds during the pandemic. With nature all around you and few people in your path, it’s been like heaven on wheels. However, it’s time for a new motorcycle and though you hate to part with your good and faithful friend, you know it’s long overdue. Friends are telling you that perhaps you should buy an electric motorcycle this time around, and so you agree to check out the assortment on bmgscooters.com

It’s Time to Leave Petrol Behind

Recently, Prime Minister Boris Johnson stated that he would go through with his intention of mandating no new vehicles sold as of 2030 would be fuelled with fossil fuels and that only sustainable fuels would be allowed on the market. With this in mind, it is far better to invest in an electric motorcycle than one which would be obsolete in less than a decade. Although you could still drive your motorcycle for another five years, only zero emissions vehicles would be allowed on the road, and that isn’t going to be a petrol-powered motorcycle. In other words, if you are going to buy a motorcycle, you might as well invest in one that no one is going to forbid you from driving long before its lifespan is over.

Variables Affecting Your Decision

There are also several variables that will impact your decision. The first concern is keeping your motorcycle charged on the road but with so many charging stations around the country that will not be an issue. Also, there is the fact that electric motorcycles have a far longer lifespan than most motorcycles with petrol-powered engines and they require far less maintenance as well. The initial cost may be a bit higher but within a short period of time, you will actually be saving more than the difference you spent for that initial purchase agreement.

Another benefit you probably hadn’t thought of is the fact that they are almost silent to operate. Just imagine all the wildlife you will get to experience on those weekend rides because the sound of a motorcycle won’t scare them back into their woodland habitats. It may not be near enough to 2030 to make that decision at this moment in time, but all those other benefits just might tip the scales. The time is probably ripe for an electric motorcycle, and with so many to choose from, why not have a look? It’s time you did.

Thanks for reading and y’all stay dandy.
