Many men don’t believe that there is a style for them when it comes to summer.

It’s true, summer is naturally the best time of year for women’s fashion and autumn or spring is better for men’s style. However, slowly but surely a new generation of men are learning that in fact, summer style has always been a male culture.From the days that men used to take their wives out to the yacht show in Monaco, to the current day trends of blending beach and urbanwear together. The thing is, most men just wear the same old stuff in the hot sun; mainly because it’s easy and feels comfortable. You don’t have to feel uncomfortable in higher end clothing designed for summer at all. Actually, many styles that may have been deemed fashionable nowadays have always been in the history of men’s style.

The long and light

Granted, shorts are not for everyone. In fact most men will stay away from them and not even give them a try. However, what they could feel more comfortable in are chinos. Chinos are long trousers that usually fit in a slim manner. The old way of manufacturing them was to make them entirely out of cotton, but now we have modern materials like nylon and polyester as well as denim, you have multiple choices. Chinos are great to wear with loafers or boat shoes. They have the appearance of tapered jeans but they are much more flexible and breath better in hotter weather. Another alternative to chinos are khakis. These classic trousers are more loose fitting, come with limited colors but they often made from higher quality material such as Merino wool.

No more weighting around

Accessories for men boom into life during summer time. It’s the time and the place to show off a little more personality. For one thing you’ll be wearing less so you have fewer items from which to do this from. Therefore something like Men’s Bracelets are a good choice to add to your style. Consider the Mister Link bracelet with it’s two tone approach in gold and black. Many men during this time of year will ditch their normal wrist watch in favor of something lighting. The extra weight on your wrists during summer can get annoying, especially when you’re doing more active things like going to the beach or having barbecues outside.

Short sleeve to the rescue

It’s about this time of year that short sleeve shirts actually make the most sense, if not the only time. The only question is what kind of style would be best for summer? Well, you have the classic jungle foliage styles with exortic plants, trees and animals printed on them. The other kind of the clear white or the sky blue cotton. Dot shirts are also quite popular as they have an almost natural beach feel about them.

A full summer style will involve shorts, shades and t-shirts. However a summer with a slight cool breeze is better for chinos, short sleeves shirts and something in the way of showing more personality with necklaces, bracelets and rings.
