It seems like nothing will ever bring him back to the fore, but for, the younger generation who want to dress and behave like him. So what is he all about? How can you become a classic gent?

Contrary to popular belief, cigars are not more unhealthy than cigarettes. In fact, quite the opposite. With the latter, you are ingesting the smoke into your lungs. Not just that, but harmful chemicals like nicotine which can build up tar in your lungs and arteries. Cigars are pure tobacco, which isn’t healthy in itself but at least, it’s not filled with anything else. The smoke is also not ingested but rather swirled around the mouth and blown out. You are tasting the tobacco smoke and not getting a ‘hit’ of anything else. So, that means, it takes time to smoke. It’s relaxing, soothing and gives the classic gentleman a chance to relax.

 

KNOW YOUR SUIT

 

A suit is not just a suit. It has its own style, regardless of cut. So you need to learn about the different kinds of suits and choose one that fits your own style.

 

• Edwardian – This suit is very British, with clean lines and balanced proportions.

• Sack – American and sounds how it looks. It’s a very broad suit, perfect for the larger gentleman.

• Naples – Italian suit, made from lighter cloth, very bright colors and is perfect for the Mediterranean. 
• German – A classic European suit, often worn by politicians. A straight rigid body, with a curved bottom seam line for additional comfort.
