Welcome to Noonan Towers! I’ve teamed up with Goldfarb Properties to showcase one of their properties in The Bronx, Noonan Towers, near Yankee Stadium.
The entire building is being renovated and they invited me to come check out the property. I took a tour of the location and chatted about The Bronx with their team.

Studios start at 1500 and 2400 for 2 bedrooms and 2 baths for the Yankee Stadium apartments. They are being renovated and even include a state of the art gym and laundry room. Rumor has it that Babe Ruth himself lived in Noonan Towers. It’s been there that long!

Visiting the Yankee Stadium? Here are some cool things to check out in this Bronx neighborhood:
Visit Macombs Dam Park – The park lies in the shadow of the old Yankee Stadium. Macombs Dam Park opened in 1899, when the Bronx was mostly farmland.
Eat & Drink at Bronx Drafthouse – Bronx Drafthouse is a local beer bar, carrying 30 Craft beers on draft and 20 craft beers in cans. Provides a full kitchen open for Lunch & Dinner.
Eat & Drink Yankee Tavern – Family owned since 1927, the Yankee Tavern was once a watering hole for Lou Gehrig, Yogi Berra, and Babe Ruth (who was known to buy a round after the game). They are open for outdoor dining and food and drinks to go.
Visit Joyce Kilmer Park – City park named for the poet, featuring the “Lorelei” fountain & the Louis J. Heintz Memorial.

Diego: My pleasure, I appreciate any opportunity to talk about the BX.
What is something unique to this borough that you love?
I love the people and their realness. The world is changing around us… fast. We are adapting and building here and we know we can’t just sitting around and see everything pass us by. I love seeing the people of the The Bronx create and being able to participate in that.
What local businesses represent the best of the neighborhood?
There are so many new start ups and restaurants popping up here. For streetwear, I’d check out The Bronx Brand and The Bronx Native. For food, I’d check out Empanology, the various Sabrosura restaurants, and Beatstro Bronx.
What neighborhood restaurants/bars have the best vibes?
It’s tricky nowadays because of the pandemic and restrictions. However, The Bronx Brewery has been a favorite because of their out door space. You’ll also find Port Morris Distillery and The Bronx Tavern in the same area.
What local landmarks should everyone see when in the neighborhood?
If you are into baseball, the Yankee Stadium area is full of landmarks from the past. If you venture out more, you can find The Bronx Zoo and THE Botanical Garden. For while, I didn’t realize other boroughs had Botanical gardens haha. But ours is the best, haha. Also, if you are into history, you can find Edgar Allan Poe’s Cottage in The Bronx!
What does your day-to-day look like living in The Bronx?
I’m working more from home since the pandemic. I start my day by running or doing jumprope. I try to organize photo shoots in my neighborhood or within a short train ride. The rest of the day is spent editing, writing, and answering emails.
Where is your favorite breakfast spot?
I’m more of a brunch kind of guy haha, and Mott Haven Bar & Grill has been a go to me. For something more grab and go, Mott Haven Bagel & Barista Cafe has been good to me.
