LOOKING CASUAL AND COOL FOR THE SUMMER

The summer can be a tricky time of the year to dress for. In the winter you’re going to be dressing in darker clothing, and bundling up in three or four layers, and using a coat to polish the whole look off. It’s often easy to dress warm, because clothes are made to keep us warm – but dressing cool is a whole different story.

Staying cool is essential, and it’s not just up to the air conditioning in your home and your car to keep you that way. You’ve got to have the right outfits on hand as well. We’ve been experimenting with our summer fashion, but now that summer is officially in swing, it’s time to focus on staying cool. It just so happens that dressing for the hot and humid weather has a casual tone to it. Who knew?

In the interest of refining your wardrobe for the next 3 months, let’s talk a little bit about the clothing items to invest in. They’re comfy and practical, and packed full of style for a very stylish season. And let’s be real, you can look good in whatever you wear when it feels good on your body!

Wear Some of Those Important Breathable Fabrics

Breathable fabrics are essential in warm weather. They’re the kind that keep the sweat at bay, because you’re constantly airing your body out as you move, and they’re the kind that fit themselves to your body perfectly. They’re not too tight and they’re not too loose, to make sure you’re feeling your best self this summer time.

Breathable fabrics include cotton, nylon and polyester (which is why workout gear exists in the first place), and linen. There’s a few more on the market, but these are the materials you’re going to see the most in the shops. So start checking labels a little bit more before you buy something. A fitted shirt will show off your body nicely down on the beach, but unless your skin can breathe in it, the redness in your face and the puffiness of your cheeks might just offset that…

Dress in Some Pastels

Pastels are great colors for the summer, seeing as they don’t absorb as much light as darker tones on the spectrum. White is usually the best at reflecting rays, and keeping you cooler whilst the sun is bearing down on you, but white can very easily get boring. Put some diversity into your wardrobe; you’ll have more outfit options, and you’ll feel cool and casual whilst you mix and match.

If you’re not sure where to start your pastel search, you can buy billionaire boys club in SVD to kick it off. There’s a lot of colorful options available with brands like these, and quite a few garments to go with them. If there’s a cool summer evening on the horizon, and you’re planning a BBQ in the backyard, a pastel sweater can keep the chill off your back and stop you from overheating at the same time.

Wear Some Shoes Made for Walking

Shoes are a big concern during the summer, seeing as our feet can get very humid and sweaty down there in our slip ons or our boots. But the summer is a time of getting out and about, and you’re going to be spending a lot more time outside, walking around to make sure you can soak up the summer sun. That means you need a type of shoe that both looks and feels good!

A sailor’s shoe, or a pair of boat shoes boat shoes, are comfy enough to keep you going the extra mile. They have a very practical history to them, and they’re not as tight fitting as most other shoe makes on the market. You can really move in them, and run and jump if need be, whilst still having that refined style a lot of men look for. Tighten and loosen them with the laces on the front; these shoes will keep your toes and heels from chafing in the heat.

Ready to Look Casual and Cool This Summer?

You probably already have a lot of these items in your wardrobe already, which means it’s time to rotate the storing system. Put anything dark and heavy to the back, and bring all your lights and flowy items to the front. It might take a bit of a change in style, but that’s easy to get used to when you’re spending most of the days out in often unbearable heats!
