KNOW THE MALE STYLISTS BEHIND HOLLYWOOD’S BEST DRESSED CELEBRITIES

Hollywood stylists are the unsung heroes of the beauty world. Sure, they get credit for helping actors and actresses look their best on red carpets and in magazine spreads, but few people realize how much work goes into making a star look so effortlessly stylish. It’s a team effort, and one of the most important members of the crew is a guy named – drumroll – male stylist!

While many women have been embracing menswear for years now, men are just starting to dip their toes into fashion. As it turns out, Hollywood stylists have been ahead of the curve for years. Many guys in Tinseltown regularly wear skirts and dresses to red carpet events – and ride that fashion wave into magazine spreads where they model women’s attire as well.

Here are some of our favorite male celebrity stylists who rock both men’s and women’s fashion.

Brad Goreski

Not many people can say they were fired by Rachel Zoe… and then go on to become the men’s stylist for one of Hollywood’s biggest starlets, Reese Witherspoon! Before making that transition, Goreski was styling Rachel’s fashion-forward friends like Cameron Diaz and Kate Moss. He also worked with Anne Hathaway during her fashion weekdays before she hit it big.

Robert Verdi

Robert Verdi rose the ranks as a celebrity stylist by working with Kelly Osbourne during her MTV days, styling her for red carpet events, and even helping her secure a role in the film “The Informers.” He later went on to style singer Aubrey O’Day before landing his current job as a stylist for the Jonas Brothers! Since taking over their wardrobe, Verdi has been credited with making Joe Jonas look so sharp.

Marcus Watts

Marcus Watts is the man behind some of Kylie Jenner’s fresh teen-queen looks, crediting his work with keeping her relevant in the ever-changing world of fashion. Most recently, Watts has been credited as one of the stylists who helped Jenner grow up and break away from her teen queen image with a sexy new look.

Jason Rembert

Jason Rembert is probably one of Jay-Z’s most prized possessions! When he’s not playing the role of stylist for Beyonce, he can be found dressing up her husband in perfect fits. We have a feeling that Rembert has an in with Jay-Z’s stylist because he is the reason that Jay-Z went from wearing jeans and sneakers to rocking Tom Ford suits.

Phillip Bloch

OK, we know what you’re thinking: another male stylist from “The Rachel Zoe Project!” Well, not exactly. Bloch started his career working for a Miami boutique before quickly making a name for himself styling the stylish likes of Brandy and Christina Aguilera. He later went on to work with Thicke and most recently worked on the #AskHerMore campaign with Reese Witherspoon.

Mikey Burton

Mikey Burton is another male who’s not afraid to mix men’s and women’s fashion to create some of the most well-dressed celebrities in Hollywood. Just ask Bette Midler, who’s worn his designs throughout her career. He also recently started styling Kate Beckinsale for events, which has landed him in tabloids with his fit for the starlet’s husband, Len Wiseman.

Law Roach

The man behind Kanye West’s fashion transformation is Law Roach, the same guy who helped Amber Rose revamp her look into that of a fashionista, giving her some of the sexiest looks on the red carpet. This new partnership has raised eyebrows in Hollywood, including those of West’s wife Kim Kardashian. Even with all the attention, Roach continues to make a name for himself as one of those guys who knows how to give stars the red carpet treatment that they deserve.

Mariel Haenn

Married stylists can’t get away from each other, especially if one is the RiRi of Hollywood! Rihanna’s main stylist is Mariel Haenn, who also happens to be married to John Kennedy, the president of Upfront and Personal, the company that represents Rihanna. Not only does Haenn have her hands full maintaining her client’s image, but she also finds time to style other Hollywood A-listers like Hayden Panettiere and Vanessa Hudgens.

For decades, there has been a continuous debate whether women or men make better stylists. However, the game changed when men started taking the fashion world by storm. Did you know that male stylists are very much in demand? It is said they have an easier time finding clothes for their clients, especially women. They are always looking ahead, never behind which gives them a competitive edge. You may find the exact type of stylist you need by contacting celebrity stylists from Moda Database.
