HOW TO PERSONALIZE YOUR CAR WITHOUT MAKING IT TACKY

There exist some incredibly gaudy and ridiculous car modifications out there. While everything is subject to personal taste, it’s hard to ignore some of the more unique and outrageous modifications from around the world. Whether it’s oversized exhausts or body replacements that make the car look otherworldly, there are loads of things that you just shouldn’t do unless you’re a hundred percent confident in your style. Thankfully, there are a couple of fun and less offensive ways to personalize your car without making it tacky.

Get a couple of bumper stickers

A bumper sticker is a fantastic way to add a touch of personalization to your car without making it look too gaudy. You can buy plenty of fun and interesting bumper stickers in stores, but you could also create bumper stickers and print them out if you prefer. This is great for people that have an idea of what you make, or if they already have some designs in mind. You can even print out stuff like your favorite cartoon character and then use that as a bumper sticker.

Custom number plates

Getting a custom number plate can be expensive, but there are lots of ways to make it something memorable and interesting. You could get your family name, a funny word, or even send a message with it. A custom plate adds a unique touch to your vehicle that makes it stand out, and it doesn’t need to be expensive as long as you’re not getting something that is highly sought after.

Buy some good car mats

Car mats might not be the most extravagant thing to buy, but any responsible car owner knows that a good car mat will help keep your car clean and also prevent accidents like a spill. You can get lots of different car mats, but just make sure that the mat you’re thinking of actually fits inside of your vehicle without needing to fold it.

Change the speakers out

Custom car speakers can seem like a luxurious upgrade, but it’s the perfect change for someone that enjoys listening to music in their car but doesn’t like the stock audio system. Let’s face it, cars don’t exactly have the best sound quality. They can easily be replaced, and you’ll be surprised at just how good they can sound.

Phone accessories

Part functional and part stylish, there are lots of different phone-related accessories that you can get for your car. This can include clips that stick to your windshield, or it could be a little clip that fits around the air vents of your car.

Whether you turn your vehicle into an itasha car or just put a few stickers on the rear window, what you do to your car is completely up to you. If you like it, then don’t let this short article stop you from doing something unique and completely personal. However, if you’re unsure about big car modifications, then these small and inoffensive changes will hit the spot.
