The fashion changes, style is something you naturally have.

What people might say many of the characteristics of a naturally well-dressed man generally remain with the classics. Of course, not everyone has everything in this list or some of the other great capsule wardrobe lists. But they are worth getting.

Here are a few tips about what you can incorporate into your wardrobe that can be classed as fashion staples.

By investing in a few of those essential items, you will know that you are always well dressed, and have an outfit for any occasion.

Tailored Suit

Everyone needs at least one suit that fits them absolutely perfectly. Having them tailored to your body means there won’t be any saggy, sleeves that are too long, or a slightly draggy trouser leg.

There are many off the rack suits that are great, but investing in something that is designed for you, it’s like nothing else.

And of course, you can break the suit components down and wear the pieces separately.

That way you will get much more bang for your buck. And a great tip is that the right shade of grey can go from day to night, from eveningwear to business casual with ease.

Chinos

Every man should have at least one pair of light coloured chinos. They are ideal for casual events. And they work incredibly well in the summer. They look polished without being too dressed up, so where you wouldn’t wear your suit, but you also don’t want to wear jeans -chinos will fit the bill.

Oxford

There is something so incredibly professional about Oxfords, you can’t really go wrong with them.

They work fantastically for formalwear, choose something in brown leather or a dark navy supervisor go with just about anything you have. Will go with suits, chinos, jeans and more. Loafers are also a wise addition, but they aren’t as formal Oxfords so you might not get as much wear out of them.

A Grown-up Watch

Sure millions of us loved Casio watches. However, if you’re still rocking a timepiece with the multiplication table, that isn’t an Apple Watch, it’s time to get something a little more grown-up.

It doesn’t matter what your job is, every dude should own a grown-up watch.

Something with a beautifully clean face, with a metal, or leather band, and it doesn’t really matter if you go for gold, silver, or leather a well-made watch can go with anything. An Aviation watch can add some understated elegance (and with the right strap it can match your Oxfords).

The thing about fashion staples as they are generally a little bit of financial investment. But they are a good investment for many reasons.

They’re well made and will last forever. And when you have the right pieces, they will act as the foundations for any trendy outfits, so you can mix-and-match forever.
