It’s 5 pm and the guests are arriving at 7. You got the alcohol but nothing to mix it with. You want to show off but you don’t want to waste time. Solution? Go to your local supermarket and grab Welch’s Refrigerated Cocktails.
I love having friends over but I’m also lazy af. I’m a low maintenance type of guy so if you hand me a drink, hell, any liquid, I’ll be fine. But as a dandy and a gentleman, you need to be an accommodating for your guests, partner, date, whatever.
Welch’s Refrigerated Cocktails can be found in the juice aisle at your local supermarket. You’ve probably seen it hundreds of times when you picked up orange juice for your mimosas. These refrigerated cocktails are literally that, refrigerated juice cocktails that you can mix into other stuff or have on its own. This is great for a summer or spring cocktail.
They come in tons of flavors like Passion Fruit, Concord Grape, and Mango Twist. Today we will be concentrating on Concord Grape and how to make a cocktail with it.
Firstly, check what you have. Today’s alcohol of choice is gin. I have lemon juice left over and soda. Oh, I have leftover elderflower as well. Let’s use Welch’s Concord Grape and mix it all together!
INGREDIENTS
For the cocktail (makes one drink):
- 1½ oz. gin
- 1 oz. Welch’s Concord Grape Refrigerated Cocktail
- ½ oz. elderflower syrup
- ½ oz. fresh lemon juice (about ½ a lemon)
- Ice
- Club soda to top off the glass
Instructions
Got no shaker and I got no time. Grab some ice and put it into your glass of choice. Add your gin and then Welch’s Concord Grape Refrigerated Cocktail. Add elderflower and the lime juice. Top it off with club soda. As with any drink, add more or less depending on taste. Stir if needed.
Cheers to that! Refreshing and easy to make. Friends officially entertained. Thanks Welch’s!
