when you want to look cool and comfortable
Aaron Wester is The Modern Otter, menswear blogger and awesome guy. I don’t remember when I met Aaron. Perhaps a GQ Insider event or a Press Preview? But he quickly became a familiar face and great friend in the menswear scene. I would describe The Modern Otter’s style as sleek casual, something you can wear going to brunch, going on a date, even working at a cool startup and everything in between. Definitely an inspiration when you want to look cool and comfortable.
early morning in Soho
This content creation opportunity happened because Aaron’s regular photographer was out of commission. We decided to trade photographer duties and picked out an early morning in Soho to work. If you want to see the pics he took of me, check out his work!
BRANDING!
Aaron was creating content for COACH. They have an awesome bag that was created in collaboration with DISNEY. Look at that branding! We found this cool alley that was under construction. It was perfect because foot traffic was low and the construction was very New York City.
OH BOY
I love the subtle branding on this. It is not obnoxious and keeps the COACH aesthetic.
Aaron knows whats up, so he pulled out all his blogger poses to make the shoot oh so much easier. I had to do my homework and check this Instagram to keep with his style!
