Bronx Week is in full swing, and one of the most exciting events on the calendar is just around the corner — The Bronx Food & Arts Festival is happening on Saturday, May 18th from 12 PM to 6 PM at Mosholu Parkway near Van Cortlandt Avenue East.
This family-friendly outdoor event is part of the Bronx Week celebration and brings together local artists, food vendors, and live performances in one festive atmosphere. It’s a vibrant afternoon filled with delicious eats, unique finds, and great music — all taking place rain or shine!

Whether you’re a foodie, a music lover, or someone who loves supporting local creators, there’s something here for everyone. Shop for one-of-a-kind handmade items, grab lunch from a variety of food vendors, and enjoy the sounds of TKA, Eddie Montalvo, and Los Hermanos Moreno performing live as part of the Bronx Week Concert, which overlaps with the festival from 12–2 PM.

Are you an artist or vendor interested in participating?
There’s still time! The Bronx Tourism Council is seeking vendors who create original work — especially those offering affordable, weather-resistant pieces. You don’t need to be selling high-end fine art to be part of this. If you’re not selling food, no street vendor permit is required. However, food vendors must have a Temporary Food Service Establishment (TFSE) permit from the NYC Department of Health and a valid Food Handling Certificate.
To participate:
- Download the vendor form
- Submit the completed form to freddyperezjr@aol.com and mnixon@bxedc.org
- Deadline: Friday, May 9th

I’ll be stopping by the festival to check out the food, the vendors, and the local art! So if you’re planning on tabling or showcasing something there, feel free to reach out — I’d love to highlight what you’re doing while I’m on-site.
The Bronx Food & Arts Festival is a beautiful celebration of our borough’s creativity, culture, and community — and it’s only one part of the larger Bronx Week 2025 celebration. Be sure to check out the full digital brochure here to explore everything happening this month!
