I needed an excuse to write a blog post about one of the looks I made in Pokémon Sword and Shield.
POKÉMON FASHION & STYLE
The latest version of Pokémon features a ton of clothing options. When given clothing options in games I always try for something I’d wear in real life. Sadly, there aren’t any suits for purchase in this version of Pokémon, despite having dandies and gentlemen in previous games.
WHAT CAN I WEAR IN POKÉMON?
What if you wanted to buy every piece of clothing in Pokémon Sword & Shield? This data comes from Reddit user, jkSam.
Here’s the quick rundown:
“Girl” clothing costs ₱ 8,249,260 with 620 total items.
“Boy” clothing costs ₱ 6,169,560 with 514 total items.
Difference: ₱ 2,079,700 | 106 items
Despite over 6 million Pokébucks worth of “boy” clothes, there are no suits.
WHERE ARE THE CLOTHES IN POKÉMON?
However, I found these amazing tartan pants and built my outfit around that. I was hoping to run into a blazer later in the game. I saw NPCs wearing blazers and Chairman Rose himself had a suit. Sadly, I reached the endgame with no blazer or suit option. The best you can do is a varsity jacket or the biker jacket.
Let’s go with the biker jacket.
You can purchase the Motorcycle Jacket at Wyndon Boutique for ₱ 11,1300. For the pants, you can find the Plaid Trousers at Motostoke Boutique for ₱ 7,800. For the shoes, black Loafers can be found at Wedgehurst Boutique for ₱ 6,740.
Now I feel like a real Pokémon trainer! Let’s do this look in real life.
SHOP THE LOOK
Leather jacket | Button Down white shirt | Tartan Pants (Similar)| Black Socks | Black Loafers | Suspenders
I hope they add suits in the next update.
Thanks for reading and y’all stay dandy.
