Nice weather is here. But that also means 90 degree in your face sun burning is also here. That doesn’t mean you have to give up your style to stay alive; you just have to be smart about the fabrics you choose. Check out these accessories for summer from SprezzaBox’s June 2016 box.

THE MADISON
This month’s SprezzaBox is named The Madison, after Madison Sqaure Park in Manhattan. It is suppose to invoke a summer vibe from the area. Eating outside and having fun! They manage to do that by including light weight fabrics and casual colors in this box.
SHOP THE LOOK
Red Gingham Tie | Stars Pocket Square | Fleur-de-lys lapel pin | Button Down Collar White shirt | Knockaround sunglasses | No Show Socks | Daniel Wellington watch | Brown loafers
Many of the items are no longer in stock. I’ve offered some similar looking alternatives.
THE LIGHTER THE FABRIC THE BETTER
Key thing to consider when picking out fabrics for the summer is weight. The lighter the fabric the better. It won’t bog you down and it is a lot more breathable. The blazer I am wearing is made of linen, valued for their exceptional coolness and freshness in hot weather. Under it, I am wearing a short sleeve shirt. Even more breathing!
The tie has a gingham pattern, a perfect Spring and Summer. It gives this a classic, yet casual feel. This tie is lightweight as well and goes well with the linen aesthetic.
The pocket sqaure is blue with white stars. How America is that? Also made of a lightweight fabric, perfect for USA’s upcoming birthday.
DITCH YOUR TYPICAL SOCKS
When picking accessories for summer, think about ditching your typical socks. These no-show socks from Taft are awesome because they have these gel insoles so they won’t fall down. Your legs can breath and you will thank yourself. Combo this with shorts, and you’ll be in heaven. At the end of the day, it’s all about trying new things while also feeling comfortable. This would get me through the day, how about you?
