There are some clever ways to make the most of the space you have and organize the most important items in a man’s wardrobe. When you get older or have a busy social life, you sometimes need to dress the part. Weddings, birthdays, and religious holidays are often times when you need to look your best. Still, you might need that look for your job.

 

In either case, over time you will get some unique fashion items like shoes, watches, and ties. These are on top of the clothes you already have, which are probably taking up most of the space in your closet. Because of this, space usually runs out.

 

Shoes Are Not Only for Walking

 

Men like good shoes just as much as women do. But, like most guys, you may be running out of room as your collection grows. There are running shoes, shoes you wear every day, and maybe even slippers or shoes you wear inside. Most men have one of these. But things start to go wrong when you start to think about fashion a bit more and start making money.

 

Then you might have some Sketchers or other comfortable shoes for the weekend. There is always a good reason to wear Timberland boots, and Oxfords, wingtips, and boat shoes are great for a party. With shoe storage and shoe racks, you can use it to keep your collection in order. This makes it easy to protect your expensive clothes, find what you need when you need it, and save closet space.

 

Face to Face: Watches

 

Men are crazy about watches. They look good, are well-made, and can be a status symbol. When they are made for a purpose, watches are also a great way to express yourself and be useful. For example, the Rolex Submariner is one of these watches. But at $10,000 or more, it is not likely that you have one of these lying around. If you do, then good for you. But even cheaper watches are very collectible, and a man’s watch collection can be very personal.

 

Ties are what make the man

 

You can never have too many ties, just like you can never have too many shoes. There are other kinds, like bow ties, but we will not talk about them right now. To get back to the point, ties are something that men just have to have. Like women need hair clips, men need ties. In a short amount of time, you can get a lot of ties if you get them as gifts, buy them when you need them, pass them down from father to son, or pass them between brothers. Some ties are expensive and made with great care.

 

 

Yet, people often do not treat these clothes with the respect they deserve. When space is limited, it is better to have things that fold up or roll. Still, it would be best if you put them carefully, so they do not move around or bump into other things. Drawer dividers work great for this.

 

If your closet has space to hang things, you could put a tie rack on the wall. These are cheap and great for putting your neckties in order. You can clip and hang your ties by putting clips on a rotating hanger. So, you will not have to dig around for your best Monday morning power tie anymore.
