Arthur Avenue in the Bronx is rich with history. From family owned Italian restaurants to Albanian shops, you can see the past, present, and future run in these streets. I had to pleasure to work with fellow Bronxite, Shaira Chaer, to shoot some of these. Her photography no only consists of traditional DSLRs, but also old school cameras. For the following pictures, she used a Hasselblad 500C.

It’s amazing how well these pictures turned out when you are so used to digital. These even came in a square, Instagram ready! These were shot in Arthur Avenue, In The Bronx, Little Italy.

My outfit inspiration was a school boy from a prep school. This tie from Cotton Brew is the quintessential preppy tie. I looked back at my own history of going of going to a Catholic all boys high school, Cardinal Hayes, for inspiration as well.
