This past weekend one of my good college friends came to visit from Washington, DC. One of her wishes was to visit the High Line in Manhattan. Sure, it may not be the Bronx, but her wish was my command. As long as I got a few pictures from it!
I’ve only worn this blazer once for a shoot I did with Frank & Oak Network friends and I was glad to use it again. This Blue Plaid gives me a 60s Mad Men vibe every time I wear it. You can’t see it in this picture, but brown elbow pads are also a part of this look. I feel that the elbow pads completes this professional look.
The green kitted tie is provided by Banana Republic and the tie bar is from thetiebar. Green has always been good friends with blue and brown. The shirt is from EXPRESS. Sunglasses are Knockaround.
HOW DO I GET OUT OF HERE?
The pocket square is from H&M. It is blue with gold circular symbols as a pattern.
Missing from the picture are the pants and shoes. I wore blue Banana Republic pants, black J. Crew belt, and black wingtips from Dockers. This old picture of my wingtips will have to do for now! Sometimes, you don’t have to play it safe with brown. Black really worked well with this outfit.
SHIRTS DOWN SOCKS UP
Shirt held down by KK & Jay. Tucked for +10 hours plus.
