7 PLACES TO VISIT IN THE BRONX THIS SPRING - BRONX MUSEUM - DANDY IN THE BRONX

I‘ve been promoting Uniqlo’s new Bronx store and part of it was also showcasing places to visit around the area. Here are my picks for 7 places to visit in The Bronx this Spring.

1. Bay Plaza Mall

The Bay Plaza Mall is where you’ll want to be if you’re looking to stay away from the non-touristic shopping part of New York. As you probably expected, the mall is big with major stores like Michael Kors, Macy’s, Hot Topic, JC Penny and more. Perhaps the biggest highlight of Bay Plaza Mall is that its stores have lines that are pretty different from what you find at other locations. Besides the excellent outfits, The Bay Plaza Mall also have movies, food, jewelry and just about everything in between. You won’t be wrong to see it as a One-Stop-Shop for all your needs — be sure to check it out if you can!

Address: 2100 Bartow Ave, Bronx, NY 10475

2. Pelham Bay Park

To sum it up, Pelham City Park boasts a variety of habitats ranging from meadows, forests, salt marsh, mixed scrub coupled with a stretch of saltwater coastline. That said, you won’t be wrong to check this place out if you got a thing for wildlife, hiking, bird watching, and likes. For the most part, Pelham Bay is the largest public park in the New York — it’s over thrice the size of Manhattan’s Central Park. Besides the beauty of nature, Pelham Bay boasts basketball courts, baseball fields, running track, tennis courts, workout machines, and barbecue picnic areas. What more could you ask for?

Address: Watt Avenue & Middletown Road, Bronx, NY 10465

The rest of my picks are featured in Uniqlo’s blog. Visited any of these places? Let me know!
