So you must be asking what is a dandy? In short, a dandy is a refined, elegant man, however, that could technically apply to a lot of men. There are things that set a dandy apart from the everyday well-dressed man. Here’s your crash course in dandyism.
So how do I wear a black suit?
Where am I? The lovely Ferry Point Park in The Bronx! Maybe you saw it when ANTHONY BOURDAIN stopped by here during his show. I was inspired by the East River that flows here and went with this blue on blue look.
How do you choose a belt? If you have been using a traditional belt with holes, you may have found yourself in a situation where the belt doesn’t perfectly fit. Or the holes don’t end up in the right place for you. Another situation is your belt fitting well, but ending up being too long! Luckily, I had a chance to try out Railtek Belts, the ratchet belts with no holes.
I had the chance to bring Nick of Coastal Flicks to my hood. We went to Mott Haven in the Bronx to set up the heist of the century.

There are colors that complement each other. Blue and orange, red and green, and in this case, black and yellow. What inspired the whole outfit was this bicycle tie from ties.com. I felt it was very “dandy” with the pattern. The bikes are yellow with a black background, so I kept with that color gradient with the outfit.
