PUFFER VEST AND A BLAZER

I have mixed feelings about wearing a puffer vest and a blazer. It can look really sleek or really lazy depending on how you do it. Here is my take for a great casual look for a Sunday brunch or a date on a cold day.

It’s possible to wear a bubble vest as a dress piece. Try wearing it as a third piece to a suit. I’m not a fan of wearing it over a blazer, as it feels there was no thought put into it. It seems like you were in a rush and you couldn’t find a real coat. I think it’s a great mix of business and casual. This works best with a thinner, more sleek fitting vest, like the one I’m wearing from johnnie-o.

Since this is a casual look, no show socks and Tretorn sneakers. Navy blazer is always a safe bet and with khakis you’ll be ready to have over 9000 mimosas next Sunday. And a tie since this is Dandy In The Bronx. Try a puffer vest and a blazer next time you are out.
