Frank & Oak Hunt Club is no more.
I’ve been using Frank & Oak ever since it was invite only. Hunt Club was a huge differentiator at the time. It allowed you to try clothes risk free, as long you returned them in time. Shipping was free both ways and you got 4% credit back from every purchase.
About a month ago, Combatant Gentlemen invited me to try out their Made-To-Measure service. Combat Gent already has some great affordable suits, so when I found out they now make custom suits starting at $350, I was really excited. After my measurements were taken, I was able to pick out the fabric, the buttons, lapel, pockets, pretty much everything. There is no other suit like this, it’s mine. I didn’t go with anything too over the top, because I knew I wanted to wear it a lot. Navy is always a safe bet.
I was able to pick up some awesome items during New York Fashion Week Mens. In this, I am styling Timberland wodehouse chukkas and weekender bag. I love how Timberland is evolving with the modern man with these pieces. Typically, I would not be going to Timberland for menswear because of their outdoorsy style. But with this new direction, I can rock this in the streets of New York. For the rest of the outfit, I wanted to keep the outdoorsy style with a street style. Layering came to mind with my leather jacket.
I had the pleasure to check out this year’s NYFWM and be invited to some awesome events and shows!I started my day at the Timberland Style Suite at the Highline Hotel in NYC.

Really excited to be featured in BRONX NARRATIVES this month! Check out the interview they did with me on my thoughts on fashion and the Bronx!
The cold is here. If you live in the North East, you know the temperature is dropping fast. That means new style choices. Let’s try a leather jacket with a shirt and tie.
It is always an honor when someone asks to draw me. Why would you draw Diego? Clearly you can be drawing cooler stuff. None the less, here are some of my favs.
There are colors that complement each other. Blue and orange, red and green, and in this case, black and yellow. What inspired the whole outfit was this bicycle tie from ties.com. I felt it was very “dandy” with the pattern. The bikes are yellow with a black background, so I kept with that color gradient with the outfit.
