How to moisturize your face in 6 easy steps. Apparently I’ve been doing it wrong all my life and this is the way to do it.

6. GET MOISTURIZER

I’ve used Baxter of California’s Oil Free Moisturizer in the past. It’s meant for normal to oily skin. My skin is super oily so this works for me. I am also a fan of Lab Series Daily Moisture Defense Lotion with SPF 15.

5. WASH YOUR FACE

After you have your moisturizer ready, wash your face. Do whatever you normally do.

4. WITH YOUR FACE STILL WET, APPLY A DIME SIZE AMOUNT OF MOISTURIZER INTO YOUR HAND AND RUB AROUND FACE AND NECK

You need to do this within 3 minutes of washing your face. Don’t dry yourself. The water helps absorb the moisturizer .

3. WAIT A FEW MUTINIES

When your face feels hydrated, then put on everything else. Like sunscreen or makeup, whatever.
