Casual Football Sunday

Another time to wear t-shirts? When you are rooting for your favorite football team, of course! Now to be frank with you, growing up in the Bronx, I never really cared much about American Football. I knew the Giants and The Jets, but that’s as far as I knew.

When I went to college at SUNY Fredonia (six years), that changed when I learned about the Buffalo Bills. Fredonia and Buffalo are located in Western New York (Not upstate, they hate that) and they live and breath their sports up there. So when the Bills were going to against the Jets a few weeks ago, I knew I had to be there.

As I always say, as a dandy or dapper person, you can’t just wear a shirt. So I got myself a Bills shirt and wore it as Diego would.

DID YOU KNOW THEIR STADIUM IS IN NEW YORK STATE?

I picked this one up from the official NFL website. I love the bright colors and old school feel to it. So glad the Bills are red, white, and blue, my favorite colors. This is also long sleeved, it gets cold out there so you have to dress smart as well. Don’t suffer too much for fashion.

WARM

It’s cold out there so I grabbed my thickest navy blue blazer and paired with with a red bandana pocket square to match my shirt.

Next, I wore my selvage blue jeans with red threading.

TOO MUCH?

No. Dress in what you feel comfortable in. I wouldn’t have felt right in a jersey and hoodie, but I am not knocking against that! This is just what I felt right in. I did get some compliments from some Bills fans and even saw another fan with a similar get up as me! And of course, I did get some Jets jeers.
